Throughout my life, creating has served as a driving force, a way to canalize energy and express the inarticulate. My path has thus led me from photography to design - for the past 6 years creating silk scarves for the brand I co-founded, with designs frequently featured in magazines such as Vogue and New York Magazine - and eventually back to where I once started as a child, where my heart lies; creating art.

My work draw inspiration from the natural world; landscape silhouettes and earthy hues. With a studio overlooking the horizons, fields and ever changing landscape of the swedish country, my paintings are to a large extent influenced by the site were I live and create.

My painting process is a harmonized collaboration between a disciplined technique and intuition. Creating a story and making a vision come to life upon multiple layers of color as well as simply taking in the final piece generates a register of emotions - fulfillment, fascination or pure harmony. My hope is that this translates to the viewer as well.
